Notes: Minor shelf wear, stapled binding, pages clean and unmarked. 32 pages, illustrated with black and white illustrations. Born in Hungary. After graduating from high school in Budapest, he obtained an engineering diploma at the Ecole Special of Ghent (Belgium). Always interest in the creative arts, but without formal art education, he became a follower of the well known Hungarian avant-garde artist Karoly Kernstock. After the Second World War, while working as textile engineer in Belgium, evenings he attended drawing courses at the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Bruxelles. In 1952 he established residence in Montevideo and continued art studies at the "Circulo de Bellas Artes" and Instituto Uruguayo des Artes Plasticas". Since 1969 he is living and working in New York City and completed his studies at the School of Visual Arts.
