Magnet is fairly strong, most likely a Y30H (C8) grade, which is very common for speaker magnets, and is axially magnetized through the full thickness. Ideal for both entertainment and practical purposes, will never rust and is a fraction of the cost of neodymium magnets of similar size. NOTE: This and several of the other magnets that I have for sale are used and they are not pristine-perfect. There may be very minor chips, flakes or dried glue residue where it was separated from the steel speaker housing.
