BACK TO COLLEGE ISSUE Norman Rockwell-esque style Cover Art by Birney Lettick Some call him Bernie FULL DISCLOSURE Edge wear. Signs of wear on spine tips. The spine shows signs of minor stress. Surface wear. Light dusting and light blemishes on the covers. On the last 14 pages starting with the back cover is a stain that is at its worst on the back cover and improves as it spreads inward. Refer to photos for details. No Cover Separation. No Writing on Pages. No Rips, Tears, or Separation. Your item will be packaged and shipped in a manner as to preserve its condition. This item is presently stored properly in a polyethylene protective barrier, in a flat even position for preservation. This item will be packaged securely between thick cardboard pieces to protect from bending and other damage or wear during delivery. NATIONAL LAMPOON During the magazine's most successful years, parody of every kind was a mainstay; surrealist content was also central to its appeal. Almost all the issues included long text pieces, shorter written pieces, a section of actual news items (dubbed "True Facts"), cartoons and comic strips. Most issues also included "Foto Funnies" or fumetti. The result was an unusual mix of intelligent, cutting-edge wit, combined with some crass, bawdy jesting.[1] In both cases, National Lampoon humor often pushed far beyond the boundaries of what was generally considered appropriate and acceptable.
