This mystery set in Los Angeles features policewoman Susan Carstairs, Sergeant Maddox and Detective D'Arcy.
A vintage first edition in collectible condition.
Tiny scuff to the rear cover, a few minute tan dots to the upper page edges, else near fine in blue linen over polished blue linen boards with white embossed titles and decorations to the spine, blue-and-white 'Harper Novel Of Suspense' patterned end-papers; in a very good dust jacket with art by Al Zalon, with creases and short tears to the upper front panel's edge, a tear to the lower spine edge, rubbed crimps to the upper spine edge.
The dust jacket will be placed in a clear protective, removable sleeve after photographing for this entry.
