Item description
Ms.
[Magazine]
Volume 1, Number 1
July 1972
Wonder Woman For President
Steinem featured a costumed Wonder Woman on the first independently issued volume with an appreciative essay (including color comic pages) about the character. "Steinem was offended that the world's most famous female superhero had had her powers removed in the most recently published comics."
This copy has been inscribed SIGNED by co-founder Gloria Steinem on the cover.
Steinem contributes an article on how women vote in the magazine.
Minor rubbing to the covers, else a very good plus to near fine copy in stapled wraps.
Large format magazine (8 1/2" by 11").
[138] pages. Includes all the inserts.
