It was originally published in 1919 by McClure Newspaper Syndicate and later opened to publication several times in book form due to it's popularity. This is an example of the Whitman Publishing Company's strong role in children's literature in the early through mid-1900's. Uncle Wiggily invents a series of crazy adventures as he finds unique ways of playing in the snow. Clean, vintage condition. Former owner's name inside cover in crayon. No other writing or marks. Some slight wear on corners. Pages clean, but yellowed with age. Sine cleanly reinforced with clear tape.
