Very warmly inscribed, SIGNED and dated "20 February 1987" to the half-title page by the Edgar Award winning author of the five Oscar Awards winning film adapted from his novel IN THE HEAT OF THE NIGHT.
This well-plotted mystery takes detective Virgil Tibbs from Pasadena to Singapore.
A scarce SIGNED paperback, dated in the year and month of publication.
Very tight and probably unread, surface nicks to the cover corner tips, a very short tear to the lower edge of the rear cover, minor rubbed crimp to the upper spine edge, else very good in glossy stiff-card wraps with fabulous front cover art depicting a cool looking Tibbs in suit and shades leaning on a grimy cracked and peeling wall.
