The insect resembles a fly or bee. There are two turquoise cabochons. The oval measures about 10mm x 8mm, and the round measures about 6mm. There are two small round ruby accents measuring about 1.5mm. The pin measures 1" long by 11/16" (just under 3/4") wide. It weighs 3.49 dwt., and dates from the 1950-60s. Wonderful!
