Signature: Old Nuremberg, Bavaria Germany. #919 Barely seen. Original Box: None Original Documentation: None Condition: Used in good condition. No chips, cracks, crazing, or fleabites. Just a little wear on the Gold accents and some paint one side near the rim/stem. Design: Roses Motif Style: Floral and across all eras. Technique: The image is transferred onto the plate. This Old Nuremberg Plate was designed to add beauty to a home or office decor. It was created in Bavaria Germany. There seems to be the very faint image of a #919 on the bottom as well as Old Nuremberg and Bavaria Germany. This plate can be used for Nuts, Candy, or even for a business card holder in your office. It has been designed in the shape of a leaf and the edges have been scalloped to provide a feminine touch. The scallops have ridges in them adding depth to the design of this piece. The stem of the leaf has been attractively painted in gold which has begun to wear. But much of it is still there which shows the care the previous owner took to preserve this plate. Peach and Brown Roses decorate the center completing the feminine look. The image has been transferred to the plate's surface. There is some paint on the side of the plate near the stem and rim which leads us to believe that the center of the roses are handpainted in peach colored paint rather than transferred. There were no chips, cracks, crazing or fleabites found.
