Item description
You are bidding on a VINTAGE Globe. This particular globe is by Rand McNally shows land elevations and sea depths via color key. I've looked over this globe and can guess it is 1940s. This was called the Simplified Ranally Globe - I haven't found much on this particular model of globe on the internet. The condition is good overall - there are stains and discoloration from age. There is one dent above the simplified ranalli globe tag and a few scratches in spots - decent for being 70 years old. I rescued this from a very dusty area. I've only dusted it but it could be cleaned a bit if desired. The base seems to be original, but not certain. There is quite a bit of patina on the metal base, as well as the axis.
