Vintage RING Solitaire BRILLIANT CUT CZ Clear Openwork 18K HGE Gold Elect Sz 10 This is a rather interesting VINTAGE SOLITAIRE CZ RING! The ring has a lovely scroll spiral open work design in the front that holds a nice sized Brilliant Cut Clear Cubic Zirconia stone! The ring is marked "18KHGE" for 18 K Heavy Gold Electroplate but that gold plating has worn down all over the ring showing the silvertone base metal. There is very little of the Gold color visible which gives the ring a really distressed and very worn look. The sparkle of the stone really pops against this stressed finish. BRIGHT AND INTERESTING! The stone is present and is bright and clear. There is also scratching and a LOT of the Heavy Gold Electroplate worn down to the silvertone base metal.
