Synopsis:
Adapted from the novel of the same name by Canadian author Lucy Maud Montgomery. The newly released TV movie in 2016. Matthew and Marilla Cuthbert, a single brother and sister living in the town of Avery on Prince Edward Island, originally planned to adopt a boy to help with farming, but the adoption center mistakenly gave them a girl named Anne Shirley, a red haired orphan girl full of rich imagination and eloquence. In her imagination, all natural scenery became talking and soulful. Marilla, who had originally discovered the wrong person, planned to send Anne back, but Matthew left Anne behind.
