One of the best Americana snapshots from the 1940s I have ever seen.
Small photograph approximately 3 1/2? x 4 and three-quarter inches
This photo has so much going on there?s four men outside Sugarman?s cigar and cigarettes store. There are several Coca-Cola signs and an American Flag in the background. The corners of the stores in the background are clearly visible, leading to believe they are on a main street in any town, USA. One of the young men is driving a fancy automobile, two of the young men are looking on as an older man is holding a baseball. It seems to me that he may be showing them how to throw the curve. The young man driving the car appears to be looking straight at the camera with a wide grin. The young man standing on the fender of the car is in a naval uniform.
