Cover has a few creases near edges; light-scuffing (front/back); front has some surface impressions and tiny abrasions and back has slight discoloration. Inner-sleeve is original (generic white). Spine has no text and is split near center and near top half. Shelf-wear and splits along top/bottom-edge. Some wear to corners. Opening is crisp with signs of light use and divots. The last twenty years have produced some excellent music as written expressly for film backgrounds. In many cases the background theme has become an important and basic part of the plot. Such was the case with Richard Addinsell's wonderful work "Warsaw Concerto". The music was written by Addinsell for the British film, Dangerous Moonlight, during World War Two. The initial showing of the picture in England brought scores of requests for gramaphone records and sheet music copies to music dealers all over London. We feel that David Haines and the Paris Theatre Orchestra present a Stirring rendition of Warsaw concerto in this recording. Enhanced with faithful reproduction of stereophonic sound we are proud to present the concerto and Chopin's Nocturn as performed by Mr. Haines.
