Item description
THE AMITYVILLE HORROR:
A True Story
By Jay Anson.
Englewood Cliffs, N.J.: Prentice-Hall, Inc., (1977).
First edition, SEVENTH printing.
Seventh printing number code sequence 7 through 10 to the copyright page, $7.95 to the jacket's flap.
Adapted to several films, starting in 1979.
The paranormal horror story of the Lutz family who moved into a house where six family members, who were former residents, had been murdered.
A decent vintage, quality publisher's edition in dust jacket.
Near fine in brown linen boards with silver embossed titles to the spine, red-and-yellow headband and tail-band; in a very good dust jacket with flies and devil-tail illustration by Barney Plotkin to the front panel, with some short creased shelf-edge tears, nicks and rubbed creases to the upper and lower spine edges, a chip and a snag to the upper rear panel, and slight rubbing to the flap folds.
The dust jacket will be placed in a clear protective, removable sleeve after photographing for this entry.
