Rare Signed CHURCHILL ETTINGER - Rising Mallard - Framed Art Etching. Print is in excellent condition as displayed in the photo gallery. Frame measures 15 3/4 by 14 3/4" inches. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
Charles Ettinger (1903-1984) was a well-known artist whose work focused heavily on hunting, fishing and wildlife scenes. He studied at the National Academy of Design and the Art Students League and the New York School of Industrial Art. During the course of his career, Ettinger also taught at the New York School of Industrial Art.
Ettinger's earliest work dates from the 1930s and featured scenes located along the Eastern Shore of Maryland. After the 1950s, Ettinger shifted his work location to Maine and Vermont. The Associated American Artists published his prints. He died in Vermont in 1984
