Item description
The Desolate Lands is Jack London's second novel, White Fang, about life in the wild, icy North Lands. It is the land of White Fang, the offspring of a mother who has given herself to the Call of the Wild. The delightful story of his creation with his awe-inspiring intelligence and instincts and his return to the life of ?man-gods?? JACK LONDON, or John Griffith as he was born, was born on January 12, 1876, in San Francisco. He embarked on an adventurous life in San Francisco Bay on his first boat, the Razzle Dazzle. Poaching oysters, sailing on a Japanese seal hunting ship, traveling the United States alone. Deciding to change her lifestyle, she returned to Oakland, started high school, and entered college by passing her exams from abroad. In 1897, like thousands of other gold prospectors, Jack London went to Canada, and this was the discovery of travel writing. He wrote a number of stories about Klondike, where he stayed for a year, including The Call of the Wild in 1903 and White Fang in 1906. He died on November 22, 1916, with the 15 works he left behind.
