Item description
Juniper procumbens nana, also called
Dwarf Japanese garden juniper is an evergreen low growing ground cover conifer.
Grows 8 inches to 1 oe foot tall and spreads over time to form a dense mat
up to 6 - 10 foot wide.
Prized for its foliage that features
spiny-pointed bright green new growth that turns blue-green when mature and
slightly purplish in winter.
Makes an easy to care choice for
Bonsai or a container.
Great choice for a mass planting on a
rocky slope, or a specimen planting. Is deer resistant, tolerates hot, dry
areas and grows in variety of soils in full or part sun. Moisture requirements
are moderate. Water when top 2 inches of soil are dry. Does not like
waterlogged soil. Plant in USDA Zones 4-9.
