You will need this part if your BMW stereo is equipped with DSP (Digital Signal Processing) and you want to install one of the aftermarket car audio integration adapters such as GROM iPod/AUX/USB adapter or any other iPod/AUX/SAT integration adapters.
The GROM BMW DSP Converter Kit converts the analog sound from your iPod/USB/AUX aftermarket adapter to the digital.

Not all DSP radios have the coaxial connection in the trunk. Some have the standard 6 pin connection and do not require this interface.

This part is required in ADDITION to our BMW (MST4, USB3, BT3) AUX adapter, iPod, Bluetooth, Android or USB adapter to make the regular packages work in a BMW vehicle with DSP commonly found in BMW E38 7-Series, E39 5-Series, E53 X5 and Range Rover L322.
Will work for other aftermarket kits for BMW as well.
