LCCN: 66-14611) This is a very engaging story about what might happen if two kids' father never returned home. They lived in the city on Manhattan, and are afraid of Welfare, which is going to take charge of them if they are found without parents. They pretend they are going to their "godmother's" house in Brooklyn. But, they move into the upper story of a building of which only the ground floor is used. How can they survive and stay together? 191pp. Hardcovers with illustrated cloth boards, but no DJs. Prior Owner?s name in front pages (Bells has an Ex-Libris sticker), adds no value.
