You're purchasing a Jane Magnolia, 8-12 inches tall, in a 2.5-inch pot. This shrub, part of the "Little Girl" hybrid magnolia group, combines beauty with hardiness. Its tulip-shaped flowers bloom late in spring, avoiding frost damage and adding vibrant color, with reddish-purple petals outside and white inside. Growing slowly, the shrub increases less than 12 inches per year and is ideal as an accent or specimen plant. It thrives in full sun with at least 6 hours of direct sunlight daily and prefers acidic, loamy, well-drained soil. Hardy in zones 4-7 and adaptable to various soils. California orders will be shipped bare root due to soil restrictions. Planting instructions are included with every purchase.
