Item description
Saucer Magnolia Tree 6-12" (Soulangeana) in 2.5" Pot - Hardy Zones 4-9
You are purchasing 1 Saucer Magnolia, 6-12" tall, in a 2.5โ pot. The Saucer Magnolia is a standout in any landscape, with its early spring blossoms and vibrant summer foliage that contrasts beautifully with its silvery gray bark. This popular flowering tree is a favorite in both the United States and Europe, valued for its ornamental beauty. The tree produces striking pink and white saucer-shaped flowers from late February to April, with occasional blooms throughout the summer and possibly into winter. It can be grown as a shrub, a small multi-stemmed tree, or a single-trunk tree. The tree has a moderate growth rate of 13-24" per year and thrives in full sun, requiring at least 6 hours of direct sunlight daily. Hardy in zones 4-9, it grows best in acidic, loamy, well-drained soil. Planting instructions are included with each order. California orders ship bare root from November to April due to soil restrictions.
