Item description
White Flowering Dogwood Tree 6-12” Tall in 4” Pot – Hardy in Zones 5-9
You are purchasing a 6-12" White Flowering Dogwood in a 4" pot. Cornus florida, commonly known as the flowering dogwood, is a small deciduous tree that typically reaches 15-30' in height, with a low-branching, broad pyramidal to somewhat flat-topped shape. It blooms in early spring, often overlapping with redbud trees. Native to regions from Maine to Texas, it is also the state tree of Missouri and Virginia. This tree grows well in average, well-drained soils with medium moisture, and thrives in full sun to part shade. Hardy in zones 5-9. California orders are shipped bare root between November and late March while the tree is dormant, due to soil restrictions.
