You are purchasing a well-rooted Emerald Green Arborvitae, 6-12" tall, in a 2.5" pot. This variety features shimmering Emerald Green foliage and a classic narrow pyramidal shape, making it attractive throughout the year. Unlike other arborvitaes, the Emerald Green maintains its vibrant color even in winter. The foliage emits a pleasant aroma when squeezed. It can be pruned into various shapes and is tolerant of heat and drought once established, with cold-hardiness down to -40F. It is suitable for use as a specimen, accent, hedge, privacy screen, shelter belt, or foundation plant. At maturity, it typically reaches 10-15' in height with a spread of 3-4'. Hardy in zones 3-7. Planting instructions are included with every order. Due to soil restrictions, California orders will be shipped bare root.
