The Upper Spray Arm is an OEM part compatible with LG dishwashers. Located inside the tub on the upper rack level, this circular arm contains jets that spray water across the top shelf during wash cycles. Over many years of regular use, hard water mineral deposits can accumulate inside its integral waterways.
Symptoms of a bad upper spray arm include:
Dirty or soiled dishes remaining on the upper rack
Inconsistent or weak water pressure at the top nozzles
Mineral buildup visible within the spray arm pipe assembly
Spray jets failing to emit powerful rotating streams of water
Causes often involve a gradual buildup of limescale or other residue that disrupts water flow through the narrow internal tubes.
This OEM LG part is also compatible with Sears/Kenmore dishwashers.
