Fine, tight, firm and crisp in rich-brownish-red leather with patterned gilt embossed decorations to the front and rear covers, gilt embossed decorations and titles to the raised two-band hubbed spine, brown-and-white headband and tail-band, all page edges bright gilt, mauve satin-moire end-papers, and a sewn-in silk ribbon marker.
