Morecambe DJ Lewis Loud (Bishop) is delighted to be offered the opportunity to star in a version of 'Dick Whittingham' and quickly seduces his co-star, soap actress Tamsin Taylor (Sheridan Smith). However, he doesn't get along so well with his director, Francis (Mark Benton), and producer Di (Samantha Spiro).
