Another feature-length episode of the 1960s Western series set in the town of Cimarron. In this instalment, Marshal Crown (Stuart Whitman) finds himself in trouble after he is knocked out by wanted killer Bill Baylor (Donnelly Rhodes) and wakes up in a strange town with his vest, badge and identification papers all missing. Seeking assistance from the beautiful Jessie (Mariette Hartley), Crown must do all he can to escape the clutches of the angry lynch mob that has mistakenly identified him as the killer.
