Resigning from the US military after he caused the death of a fellow officer in a flying accident, Canada McKendrick (Ladd) enlists as a paratrooper in England, claiming to be a Canadian to disguise his past. Despite suspicions from commanding officer Major Snow (Leo Genn), McKendrick's fighting skills soon lead him to be recruited for a raid on a German radar station.
