The hinges are weakening otherwise the binding is in good condition. The pages are lightly tanned and there is a name and date 1892 written on the title page. The top page ends are gilded and the bottom page ends have a small ink or mark. The cover has a few discolored areas and a small amount of edge wear. Acceptable. Hardcover.
George Ebers was a well know Egyptologist as well as an author and had the idea to promote Egyptian lore by writing historical romances. (#00002032)
