In Russian. Short description: Venus, G.D. War and People: Seventeen Months with the Drozdovtsy. 2nd edition. Moscow; Leningrad: State Publishing House, 1927. [4], 260 p.; 20x14 cm. Started in 1925 as the author's confession, who joined the Drozdov Volunteer Officer Regiment of Denikin's army during the Civil War. In 1922, G. Venus moved to Berlin but became disillusioned with the White movement and requested rehabilitation in the Soviet Union.
