Morbius lives in a house constructed above the last remains of the ancient Krell civilization. The film, shot entirely indoors on sound stages at MGM, features electronic music by Bebe and Louis Baron long before Moog synthesizers had been developed. The highlights are the tour of the Krell city, the Id monster, Robby the Robot, the landing of United Planets Cruiser C-57D, and the laser battle with the monster. Still one of the finest science-fiction movies ever made.
