These high quality Moomin silk screen sheets were rediscovered recently from an archive and only a few 6-print sheets survived.
You can find my pictures in a major role in Anders Landรฉn's just published new book "Treasures from Moomin Valley", 500 pages and my pictures in the first pages.
The story of these first pictures is well told in the book. Stockmann Helsinki NK Stockholm 1956.
These were the first commercial Moomin products Tove Jansson gave permission to manufacture, the year was 1956.
One series of these Moomin sheets is now exhibited in The Moomin Museum and one in The Moomin Characters.
This 6-print sheet series is one of those survived and now available publicly first time ever. The most rare Moomin product for collectors.
They were exclusively printed for Stockmann luxury store in Helsinki and NK Stockholm in 1956 for the first commercial Moomin products manufactured by former Vaasan Saippuatehdas (1886-1987) in Vaasa Finland.
Printed by Kromipaino Helsinki in 1956.
Sheets are in good condition, size aprx. 43 x 7-8 cm, 4 x 6 = 24 silk screen prints.

Ces feuilles Moomin ont ete redecouvertes dans une archive et seules quelques feuilles a 6 tirages ont survecu.
Ce furent les premiers produits commerciaux Moomin que Tove Jansson donna l'autorisation de fabriquer, en 1956.
Une serie de ces feuilles Moomin est maintenant exposee au Moomin Museum et une autre dans The Moomin Characters.
