Gator t**th are hollow, they fit into each other like nesting Tupperware. Gators have 3 sets, they shed the outer and use the inner, etc. Sometimes when the gator is caught, there are still inner (perfect, white) t**th inside the outer ones, some even have a ridge along the side towards the tip because the t**th was never used.
