Lot of 6 Evergreen Trees for Wargames, Model Train Layouts, Dioramas, and Hobby or Craft Scenery Projects Add trees to your railroad layout. Need Pines, Spruce, Fir for your layout? Use your imagination and decide how best to add them into your scene. We are primarily a Nursery, growing and selling trees, like Fruit Trees... but this time we are tree-makers. We have been making scenery for our model trains and wargaming tables for almost 60 years! We made trees to offer for your own scenic landscapes. Now what this Set is 6 trees, evergreen trees, stands about 6 to 8 inches tall, which can work nicely for HO and O Scale. What we did was to paint the wood dowels, and tapered the ends. We cut up furance/ac filters that we got for walmart, glued them onto the trunks, and Scenic Woodlands turf blend flocking to bring them to life. Then they were sprayed lightly with a clear sealant. There you go... a bunch of trees! These took a lot of work to make, but we think they came out really nice. Caution... these are brittle, handle with gentleness. Now you can also further embelish the trees, like add more detail onto the trunks, or other ideas. Need more? Need hundreds? We can make more for you, it will take some time, but we sure can do so. Ask us... Yes, you can make your own, it's easy, and we encourage you to make your own scenery if you can. You should be able to find trees and plants from your yard, the empty lot, all over... One tree can produce a lot! But... if you can't make your own, or just don't have the time, then consider these. Shipping: As strange as it seems, the shipping weight is closer to 1 1/2 lbs. The reason is the box and packaging. Because of the fragile nature of the trees, we pack it to arrive nicely, so it really does cost more. Disclaimer: These will vary, as the production process is meant to add differences. The Set may vary. The flocking may be heavier on some than others, and the shape may be different. Again, every tree and in every set, there will be some differences. This Set is trees only, no other parts or scenery included. Our intent is to offer some trees for your projects. Up close, they look "dorky", but as you check the pictures, in the grander scheme, they can look pretty good.
