THE FAMOUS ROSE CALLAHAN
by Patricia Berrington
Las Cruces, New Mexico: Silver Rose Productions, (1997).
First edition.
Folded promotional sheet and colorful bookmark laid in.
Lengthy dated (May 29, 1999) inscription from the author with the additional statement "Remembering the way he called me Rose", SIGNED by the author to the front end-paper.
An historical novel set in 1880s Tombstone, Arizona, featuring a strong female character and depicting life, culture, and the Bird Cage Theatre there.
A lovely book production.
Fine in simulated green leather with gilt embossed titles and decorations to the front cover and to the spine; in a very nearly fine, color photo-pictorial dust jacket.
