Vintage Budweiser Anheuser Busch Copper and 49 similar items

These are the kinds of unique finds that just make our store stand out! This was found at a recent estate consignment from family whose ancestors were in the local beer business and later involved in advertising for AB/Budweiser products via one of the largest ad agencies at the time. This heavy copper plate was used for creating advertisements and used in the actual printing process for magazines. The last photo in this sale shows an actual advertisement using this plate (although there is additional wording added in) probably to tailor the message to the magazine readership. This copper plate is 8.25 inches tall and 5.25 inches wide. The plate is 1-2mm thick yet weighs almost a pound (14 Oz). A fantastic piece of history for both advertising collectors and beer collectors alike. We envision it as a wall hanger in a home bar or something that could be propped up on the actual bar.
