Ghost Pepper (Bhut Jolokia) is an extremely hot pepper with a SHU or Scoville Heat Units of 1,000,000! Will produce a wrinkled 2" x 1" pepper that will turn from green to red with maturity. Warm soil that is weakly alkaline to neutral is the key to growing hot peppers. Please note that extreme hot peppers will take up to 30 days to germinate. Keep moist, do not saturate until germination Hot peppers can be very difficult to germinate. I highly recommend that you use the damp paper towel method to germinate your hot pepper seeds: 1. Place pepper seeds on a paper towel 2. Use spray bottle to dampen seeds and paper towel (do not soak) 3. Fold paper towel and dampen outside of paper towel 4. Place in a zip-lock back and seal 5. Store in a room temperature environment. If you have a heating pad, ideal germination temp should be between 80-85 degrees Fahrenheit 6. Check every couple of days for germination.
