Condition Details:
Vinyl plays with occasional light-crackles (play-graded). 7" Single. Original "Arista" cover looks good; light scuffing and fading (front/back); a name and a number written on one side of cover and inked design on other side. Minor shelf-wear along edges and corners with two tiny holes (from a staple?) near top corner. Opening is crisp but faded with some rippling and signs of use. Initials written on one side of label. (Not a cut-out.)

About The Record:
I Write the Songs, by Barry Manilow, was written by Bruce Johnston in 1975 and released on his album Going Public in 1977. Barry Manilow's version appeared on his album Tryin' to Get This Feeling and reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in January 1976 after spending two weeks atop the Billboard adult contemporary chart in December 1975. It won a Grammy Award for Song of the Year and was nominated for Record of the Year in 1977. Billboard ranked it as the No. 13 song of 1976.
