THE FEARFUL PASSAGE
by H.C. Branson [Henry Clay]
New York: Simon and Schuster, 1945.
First edition, first printing.
1945 date printed to the title page.
A selection in the Inner Sanctum Mystery series.
Private detective John Bent is featured in his fourth appearance at work on a complicated case of a murdered art critic.
Slight soiling to the covers, pages starting to tan as usual, small faint damp spot to the upper edges of many pages, else very good in black linen with lightly flecked gilt titles to the spine; in a very good dust jacket with nicks and mild rubbing to the shelf-edges, and with tiny chips and very short rubbed tears to the upper and lower spine ends; original printed $2.00 price still intact to the front inner flap.
