1870s COPELAND ASHBURNE RURAL FARM SCENE 15" IRONSTONE TRANSFERWARE BOWL BASIN
Huge, Antique, 1870s, W. T.
Copeland, Ashburne Rural Scenes Brown Transferware Bamboo Shape Body
Ironstone Basin / Bowl from Staffordshire, England. Marked on the bottom with
English Registration Diamond and "W. T. Copeland; Ashburne" logo
The
basin is 15 inches (~ 38 cm) across at the opening and 5 inches (~ 12.5 cm)
tall (please see pictures).
The Basin is in Very Good condition: Clean, Bright and
Attractive with No chips, cracks, dings or repairs. There are a few rub marks
on the basin, consistent with age, regular use and prolonged
storage (all shown in pictures). Overall this is an outstanding specimen of
original Antique Copeland, Staffordshire Transferware design and craftsmanship.
