Although the basic premise has since been executed with more technical skill and panache (most notably by Aliens and Michael Mann's The Last of the Mohicans), it's unlikely that anything will ever top the utter spectacle and, above all, sheer unbelievable size of the combat scenes that almost wholly comprise the last half of this film. A gloriously exhilarating essential for anyone looking to get lost in the heat of cinematic battle, topped off with a healthy dose of gallows humor. Not to be missed. Richard Burton voiced the stirring narration. Zulu was followed by a slightly dry but still recommended prequel, Zulu Dawn PLEASE NOTE- this is blu-ray region code A/1- North America Customer Feedback : For a guy who spent his worklife in the motion picture business I must admit that I was sorely mistaken about information I had garnered through various sources. First, I heard it was distributed by Paramount and they apparently did not. I now know that it was recorded in LPCM 48hz.The cover picture threw me off, as well as it being distributed by Inspired Dist. Although I have only watched about 30 minutes, I have been completely satisfied so far. Your company has provided a great service to me as this a Great movie.I sincerely apoligize for being an uninformed "video pile"! Your response was quick and more than any service I expected when I opened the pkg. The cover picture freaked me out as it sort of looks somewhat unprofessional.
