The unrigged mullet (except for the 4" model) also feature a tube that runs the length of the bait as well as belly cavity for your hook to set in while you're trolling. The 4" mullet is also easy to rig with a circle hook or with a jig head and can be fished that way. The 6 and 8" unrigged mullet have been used in combination with the "Bioedge" scent sticks and potions as a great grouper set up. They can also be used as trolling lures if you wish to troll them with an Almost Alive weighted hook or u can use a normal style J hook if that's what you choose. The largest Almost Alive 12" mullet is a superb offshore bait when targeting big blue marlin. The large body and details on the bait will fool even the weariest marlin.
