Mid Century Design Villeroy & Boch Art and similar items

This is a very nice quality Mid Century Art Pottery Ashtray that depicts a great Stylized Fish from Villeroy and Boch. It is quite heavy and exceptionally nice quality and Hand Painted although I cannot read the mark on the bottom that may further identify this piece. The V and B mark is clear and it was made in France - also says Mettlach underneath the V and B mark. It measures approx. 8 3/4" at widest points and the inside of the ashtray measures approx. 7".
