Beginning with his debut solo album, Sentimental Journey from 1970 and going all the way through Ringo's latest studio release (EP3, from September 2022), this 4-disc fan-made set hits all the right notes along the way in showing just how much fun music Ringo had to offer over the past fifty-plus years, from his haunting debut single, It Don't Come Easy from 1971, to his commercial peak with 1973's self-titled Ringo album (represented here by nine of its ten tracks, including both of Ringo's number one singles, Photograph and You're Sixteen), to all the studio albums he recorded along the way. Every album is represented by at least one song and most are represented by multiple tracks (including the incredibly rare vinyl-only 1977 release 'Scouse The Mouse', which has two songs on this collection), giving a full representation of Ringo's entire career as a solo artist. All the tracks have been lovingly matched with regards to volume level and overall sonic clarity, so this set will be an extremely pleasant listen. Beautiful artwork (including disc art which mirrors period-specific record labels for each era) ensures this set is a treat for the eyes as well as the ears.
