Item description
(#TN-BEA-KO-352) Excellent hand crafted tagua nut carving of a KOALA BEAR on a coconut shell base; measures 3-3/8" tall x 1-3/4" wide x 1-3/4" deep.
Carved in Ecuador of genuine, natural "tagua nut" which is a seed from a special palm tree there (Phytelepas Equatorialis). The milk inside the seeds solidifies into a product so similar to animal tusk it's hard to tell the difference. New, no defect. Eyes nose are made of coconut shell dust.
