If used with a subwoofer, set both AV receiver and subwoofer crossover to 80 Hz, this will blend nicely and maximize low distortion dynamic range. If no sub is used, the best compromise for bass extension and dynamic range is achieved with a 60 Hz receiver crossover setting.
