1800's Black Widow Quill Ink Tray and 50 similar items

The images say it all. You've probably seen these before, we certainly have... but geesh, the Black Widow Ink well topper on a super cool crystal ink bottle is new, to us anyway. And what a cool ornate tray. So, back in the day, we're assuming around the late 1800's, when they still used feather quill pens, the guy that had this sitting on his desk must have made quite the impression. It kind of makes you wonder about that guy. Was he into spiders or was this just another very cool thing owned by yet another aristocrat? We'll never know for sure, but we do have this awesome piece that will bring up conversations for years to come. Condition - A few tiny scratches on the ink bottle top.
