A charming classic filled with humor and warmth, featuring a Boy and his friend Dragon, who does not want to fight anyone, in spite of people's expectations of dragons, and of St. George's sword fighting reputation.
Delightfully illustrated throughout by Shepard, who imbues the dragon with an expressive personality.
Fine in blue linen with lovely silver embossed illustration by Shepard of the Boy talking to the Dragon to the front cover, silver embossed titles to the spine; in a very good plus dust jacket with rubs and tiny nicks to the upper and lower spine edges and corner tips, minor rubbed crease lines to the spine panel and flap folds; original printed code 70110 still intact to the front inner flap.
