Item description
In this listing we have a 13 gram Sterling Silver spoon commemorating Greer College, one of America's early, beautiful, yet long ago defunct Colleges.
Greer College, was located in Hoopeston, Illinois and in operation from 1891-1914. After the college closed in 1914 the building served as the high school until 1956 and as a grade school until 1969. This spoon has beautiful details. On the tip of the spoon is a rounded beautiful floral design with blue Enamel detailing. The stem flows down to a twisted pattern going to the bowl. Inside the bowl is a beautiful rendering of the college itself.
